Our Pilot Program
What the Pilot is
The Thrive 55+ Nursing Advantage™ Proof Pilot is a 60–90 day, structured accommodation program designed to support nurse retention for experienced nurses age 55+ who are managing physical strain, chronic conditions, or recovery from work-related injury. Using a tiered framework (Bronze, Silver, Gold), clear criteria aligns nurses with physical, cognitive, and workflow accommodations that are designed to keep them working. Agreed upon metrics are defined and measured at beginning, middle, and end of pilot. Upon completion of the Pilot all measured data is analyzed and the results guide the feasibility of a continued program at your facility.
How the Pilot Works
During the pilot, Thrive 55+ Nursing Advantage™ partners with hospital leadership, HR, employee health, and unit managers to identify baseline workforce pressure points (retention risk, sick time, injury leave, overtime, agency use, workload strain) and to select a small voluntary cohort (typically 20–24 nurses). Working directly with each participating nurse and their leadership team, a customized tier support plan is developed with clear guardrails and expectations that align clinical safety, operational needs, and individual functional capacity.
